The agreement
These Terms govern your use of Unrotten and form an agreement between you and NORTH VENTURES LLC (‘Unrotten’, ‘we’).

Use the app only if you can lawfully accept these Terms, with a parent or guardian’s involvement where required. Unrotten is not intended for children under 13. The Privacy Policy describes personal-data processing; accepting these Terms is not consent to optional Health access or AI sharing.
What Unrotten offers
Unrotten helps you understand scrolling habits, set goals and app limits, reflect on progress and practice guided breathing. Your AI Coach is included: it offers conversations, Home reflections and personalized insights, subject to internet availability and the data-sharing permission described in the Privacy Policy. MindBattery™, habit levels, sleep estimates and time reclaimed are informational models and estimates. They are not clinical tests, diagnoses or promises of health, productivity or behavioral outcomes. Screen Time and Health data can be delayed, unavailable or incomplete. Blocking depends on your selections, permissions, configuration and iOS behavior; it is not a guaranteed restriction or an emergency, parental supervision or safety system.
License and acceptable use
We grant a personal, non-transferable license to use Unrotten on Apple devices you own or control, subject to Apple’s Usage Rules, including permitted Family Sharing and volume purchasing. Do not unlawfully copy, resell, disrupt or exploit the app, bypass service limits, access other people’s data or submit unlawful content. Reverse engineering restrictions apply only where permitted by law. Keep your device secure and choose your settings carefully. Do not rely on blocking to prevent access to essential services.
AI and your content
AI can make mistakes, miss context or produce unsuitable advice. Review its suggestions and confirm changes yourself. Do not treat Coach output as medical, mental-health, legal or other professional advice. You retain rights to content you provide and give us permission to process it only as needed to deliver and support the requested features, as described in the Privacy Policy. Do not submit material you are not entitled to share. Feedback is voluntary; we may use suggestions to improve Unrotten without an obligation to implement them, credit you or pay compensation, unless we separately agree otherwise.
Availability and changes
Local features can work without an internet connection; online features require connectivity and may have reasonable usage limits. We may update features, fix errors or suspend access necessary to prevent abuse, protect security or comply with law. We will give reasonable notice of material adverse changes where practicable and legally required. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. No payment or subscription is created by accepting these Terms. Using Unrotten requires a membership, an auto-renewable subscription purchased separately through the App Store: its price, duration, free-trial terms, renewal and cancellation conditions are shown before you purchase, payment is charged to your Apple Account, and it renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your App Store subscription settings; refunds follow Apple’s rules. Without an active membership the app’s features are not available and app blocking switches off; your settings are kept, so they work again when you renew.
Your consumer rights
Nothing here excludes rights, remedies or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude, including mandatory consumer guarantees, privacy rights or liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct or personal injury where exclusion is prohibited. Subject to those rights, the app is provided as available and outcomes are not guaranteed. We are responsible for losses to the extent required by applicable law. These Terms do not require private arbitration or waive your right to bring a claim in a court available under mandatory consumer law.
Apple’s role
This agreement is with us, not Apple. We are responsible for the app, support, warranties, product and privacy claims, and investigating and resolving intellectual-property claims. Apple has no support obligation. If an applicable warranty fails, you may notify Apple for a refund of the app’s purchase price; remaining warranty responsibilities are ours, subject to law. Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce these Terms as third-party beneficiaries. Follow applicable third-party agreements. You must not be in a US-embargoed country or on a US prohibited-party list. Apple’s mandatory Usage Rules prevail over conflicting restrictions here.
Stopping use and resolving concerns
You may stop using Unrotten at any time. Manage optional sharing, backup removal and privacy requests in Settings. Deleting the app does not itself remove an enabled Keychain recovery backup, Apple Health records or service records already processed. Contact us first if something is wrong so we can try to resolve it. The mandatory laws and consumer protections of your place of residence remain applicable. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply to the extent lawful. Material revisions will be identified by an updated revision date and communicated where required.
